Application DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our facility management applications, that enable your Nationale Nederlanden colleagues to get the most out of their working day.

What you are going to do

• Developing and maintaining the integration services and applications
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Implement and manage security best practices for on-prem and multi-cloud environment
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using using Infrastructure as code and pipelines
• Continuously improve and streamline processes through automation and innovation

Who you are

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,  5+ years’ experience as a Software developer (JavaScript, Phyton) and/or DevOps Engineer and proven experience with AWS and Azure
• You have knowledge of Linux, and familiarity with  networking architecture (e.g. Load Balancing, TCP/IP, Routing)
• You have experience on containerization solutions (Kubernetes, Docker)
• You are an excellent problem-solver and have a proactive attitude
• Servicenow and/or  Facility management application environment knowledge is a plus
