Front End Developer / Full Stack Developer Customer Identity Access Management

Nationale-Nederlanden (NN) is currently going through the transition from a traditional banking and insurance company to becoming an increasingly IT-driven company. This requires innovation on all fronts, and certainly of our IT landscape. Your team's goal is to help accelerating this renewal. We do this by building a state-of-the-art Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) platform and solutions using leading-edge software and the latest techniques in the public Cloud.

As a member of our team, you will be at the forefront of this rapidly changing landscape, constantly learning and adapting to ensure our authentication systems are up to date and secure. We are looking for someone who is excited by the challenge of staying “ahead of the curve” and who is always looking for innovative solutions to improve our customers' experience while maintaining the highest standards of security. 

Currently, we are missing front-end development expertise in our team. We are therefore looking for a candidate who is a Front End developer, but is also interested in becoming a Full Stack developer and willing to learn and grow with us. You will have the opportunity to work on both the Front End and Back End of our authentication journeys, as well as collaborate with other teams to integrate with our core banking and insurance systems.

Within the team we design and implement intelligent solutions for challenging problems surrounding the various CIAM processes. We build on NN's leading CIAM landscape, including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab, ForgeRock, WSO2, Transmit Security, Azure DevOps, etc. We automate the implementation of CIAM processes and the underlying infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines and we do everything you can to develop a fast, secure and stable release cycle. You work together with our suppliers to get the most out of the products.

As a CIAM DevOps engineer in the CIAM team, you are in a special place within our Customer & Commerce department. This is the place where we connect the customer and the business units of NN. The whole of NN and all customers, therefore, make use of our platform. As a team, we have a crucial role in the organization, and you will collaborate and interact with many other DevOps and competence teams.

This is an environment where you can challenge yourself, take initiative, develop yourself further and achieve the best results. You will work in a team of 6 engineers and a product owner. We meet up at least once a week at the office and regularly organize informal team events with some games, drinks and bites. An Engineering Manager will be there to help and coach you to grow further in your career as an engineer.
