We're looking for an experienced IT Engineer Solution Design & Data professional with Azure experience to strengthen our Data Platform Services team (DPS) within International Core Banking. Do you want to play a crucial role in moving the foreign branches of Wealth Management and Corporate Banking forward in their data journey? Then look no further!

Your job

The DPS team looks after a variety of home grown applications on Azure (or at the verge of being migrated), mostly in the area of data. This includes a currently used data platform, as well as future state solutions such as a DDS. You will be part of a DevOps team, where we always strike a balance between keeping the applications running and implementing change. 

For this role we are looking for a combination of expertise in Azure infra, data management and data engineering practices. The team and its applications has a strong link with the context of the International Core Banking domain, which means a dynamic working environment and plenty of opportunity to develop oneself.

Working environment

You will be part of the International Core Banking grid, a diverse internationally oriented grid. Your key stakeholders outside the grid are the foreign branches of Wealth Management and Corporate Banking. Your base location is Amstelveen, Groenelaan, but as many companies we expect you to work in a hybrid fashion. This effectively means that with your team you assess the best way to support the team's activities and come to a good balance between working from home and in the office. 

Your profile

If you recognize yourself in the criteria mentioned below, please contact us.
You really need to have the following:

• Certified Architect (minimal AZ 305 or predecessors)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Azure cloud platform (as developer or tester or likewise)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building cloud solutions in Azure
• Deep understanding of Azure modern data platform cloud services
• SME in ETL using Azure data factory and Databricks, SME in Azure DevOps
• SME in Azure infrastructure setup, Infrastructure as code way of working

It would be great if you would match these criteria as well:

• Experienced in design solution and architecture using Microsoft Visio/ArchiMate
• Experience in Power BI, Data modelling and Data warehousing would be preferred.
• Eager to work in a DevOps team: develop new functionality but also run the applications and troubleshoot issues.
