Your job

You will work in your own DevOps block on developing and maintaining good quality and future proof IT solutions. This includes: Educating yourself with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations
Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining communities and events. Furthermore, focus on proper knowledge dissemination across the teams, pushing the limits of our technology and focusing on holistic solutions.
You make sure your code is safe, secure and working. You are open to feedback on your code and open to learn from peers and your Chapter Lead. And last but not least: Finding solutions to new challenges

You will be part of the a team which provides core client (back-end) authentication services to many of the major business lines (retail, private banking etc.) spread across the bank. A few notable examples include Mobile Banking authentication and Internet Banking (QR code) authentication. The team also plays a major role in the lifecycle management of all client related access tools (tokens) which can be used for authentication purposes, e.g. debit cards, mobile devices and physical QR scanners.

Your profile

You feel at home in a technical environment and are always up to date on the latest technologies. You love working on (Java) technologies to find the best IT solutions. Do you think you're a fit? Check your profile:

Must haves:

• More than 5 years of developing software in Java (preferably with Java 17 and with an extensive proven experience in developing microservices).
• Hands-on experience in working with Spring and/or Spring Boot and some of these frameworks: JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, consuming SOAP services and Rest APIs.
• Experience in delivering quality software in accordance to the standards set in CI tools such Sonarqube, fortify and nexus.
• A relevant degree in Computer/Information Science
• Excellent oral and written communication skills: English AND Dutch (B1 or higher) 

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps and Security frameworks is an advantage.
