
Senior Associate Crisis Resilience
What you are going to do:
Incidents, disruptions or crises could be any event that negatively impacts normal operating procedures. A natural disaster, extreme weather, a cyber-attack, a product recall, or a sharp change in political stability are just some of the events that could spark a crisis. Our work spreads across a variety of industries and addresses a number of business disruption areas, however due to increased prominence of regulations such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and NIS2, cyber crises are one of the prominent topics in our projects. Leading in a crisis requires training, a strong and assertive team, a detailed crisis response plan, good communication channels, and most of all, the ability to keep a cool head in the midst of calamity.
Through acquiring a lot of experience in the domains of continuity, crisis and resilience management and leadership, we have a strong team which seeks to grow due to accelerated developments in this market.
We are looking for Crisis Management and Business Continuity specialists to join the team in growing the practice. The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge and experience with of at least one of the following areas appropriate:
- Crisis Management
- Business Continuity Management
- Organisational resilience
- IT Disaster Recovery
Your impact:
You will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks ranging from collaboration in solution development, supporting business development and at a prominent place: delivery of projects together with other subject matter experts. In your day-to-day job you will guide clients in making them more resilient towards internal and external disruptions.
You will:
- Support in the preparation and execution of client engagements, including Crisis and business continuity maturity assessments and roadmaps;
- Advising clients on their resilience strategy including business continuity and crisis management;
- Support selection and implementation of technology platforms supporting crisis management and business continuity;
- Developing crisis simulation scenarios and crisis management training;
- Support in writing proposals and other business development projects;
- Work with colleagues in other service areas and support our clients’ Crisis and Resilience needs, including Risk Consulting, Supply Chain Consulting and Internal Audit to name a few.
You recognise yourself in the following:
- Holder of a degree in higher education;
- At least 1 year experience in resilience/BCM or a closely related domain of BCM / crisis management;
- Trained in the basic disciplines of BCM. Standards such as the ISO 22301, 22313, 31000, 22316, 22361, and BS11200 hold no secrets for you;
- Proactive and willing to take responsibility;
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and report writing skills are a given;
- A team player;
- Fluent in at least Dutch and English.
